Tomorrow! Ethnic Studies Rally And Board Vote! says
Join ALLY and APANO for our "Missing Pages of our History" rally and stay for the Board vote!

After launching our ethnic studies campaign last October, the date has finally been set for the board to vote on the ethnic studies resolution ALLY youth drafted!

With this resolution, ALLY leaders hope to implement at least one ethnic studies class in all PPS high schools within 2 years, form an oversight committee consisting of teachers, school staff, community leaders, and a student advisory council to develop the program. We want an ethnic studies program that is driven and led by our communities! Passing the resolution would mean a victory for our campaign, and a solid step in working towards closing the achievement gap for students of color.

We would love to have y'all come through (ROLL THROUGH) and support this campaign and show the district how much our community wants ethnic studies.

We are having a rally right outside the PPS Building (501 N. Dixon) at 5:00pm, then heading in for the start of the board meeting (6:00pm). We'd love to have you join us and feel free to bring signs!
