Reproductive rights are under assault in the U.S.

Since 2010, 288 laws restricting access to abortion services have been passed by conservative state legislatures, particularly in the south. These restrictions, known as TRAP laws (or Targeted Regulations of Abortion Providers) are spreading across America and threaten the constitutional rights of millions of women.

See the Sundance Film Festival-winning documentary Trapped in Portland beginning March 18. The film follows several abortion clinics and their staff, who are on the front lines of the battle to protect women's reproductive freedoms in an increasingly hostile political and legal climate.

As the Supreme Court of the United States decides later this year whether states may effectively outlaw abortion, TRAPPED gives an emotional peek inside a complex and deeply polarizing issue.
