Travel Portland’S Tourism Connects To Community Event says
Join Travel Portland and over 30 local businesses on May 3, 2016 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., as we celebrate our inaugural Tourism Connects to Community event, part of National Travel and Tourism Week. Come hang out with us in Portland’s living room as we showcase how valuable tourism is to the region and how it helps connect the larger community.

Admission is free, and we’ll have food, drinks, giveaways (restaurant gift cards and free hotel stays) and tons of fun! We’ll be raffling off local restaurant gift cards to those who donate money to various organizations at the event.

We look forward to seeing you as we discuss the positive impact of tourism on economic, social and environmental stewardship and its roll in encouraging public engagement.
