9am to 4pm INCLUDES: Warm-Up session, Technique Class with rotating faculty, 2 Repertory Sessions daily with 2 different choreographers, cool down session, Career Development discussion. INCLUDED: Perform in “Welcome to Summer” Friday June 24th @ 730pm at Spanish Village in Balboa Park with The PGK Dance Project and The PGK Dance Project TOO.

FACULTY: Michael Medcalf (Formerly Cleo Parker Robinson Dance Denver, Kim Robards Dance, Director Alabama State University Dance Department), Gunta Liepina (Fulbright Scholar Latvia, Master Teacher Performance), Desiree Cuizon-Fejeran (Rehearsal Director/Dancer The PGK Dance Project, Dancer San Diego Dance Theater), Peter G. Kalivas, Founding Director The PGK Dance Project (Formerly Original member Sean Curran Company, Ailey II, Donald Byrd, Queens Ballet/NYC, The Jamison Project, The Iwanson Dance Company and The Bavarian State Opera Ballet/Germany, Fulbright Scholar Dance Education and Culture.


REGISTRATION is $350 for 1 week

Public Drop in is $15 per Class (not performing)

$100 Deposit Due by May 1st to Hold Spot

Full Registration Due by May 16th (no reimbursements)

AUDITION PROCESS for level placement ("live" auditions were on April 10th): SEND a VIDEO Link with you in class, doing technique exercises and across the floor combinations NO LATER THAN May 1st to: Admin@ThePGKProject.org

"LIVE" Auditions are by appointment only attending our OPEN Company classes M, W, F, 10am to 1130am at Culture Shock Dance Center. NO COST to audition but email us first with resume or Bio to confirm appointment (NO WALK INS)

The PGK Dance Project’s main company and
The PGK Dance Project Too (apprentice company)

The PGK Dance Project is a professional company performing locally, nationally and internationally throughout the year in addition to a variety of collaborative projects. We also provide opportunities for choreographers to create work on our companies as well.

The PGK Dance Project Intensive is geared towards Advanced and Intermediate level dancers who are considering a career or want advanced training in dance.

*Attendees who choreograph may submit via video link with registration. The piece of choreography may be finished or almost finished work to be included in the summer intensive performance "Welcome to Summer" at Balboa Park. (solos, smaller works featuring dancers also attending recommended).
