U Of M Hike: Backside Of Cowles Mountain says
Join the U of M Club of San Diego in celebrating our sunny San Diego September with a beautiful hike to the top of Cowles Mountain using the less-known back route.

The hike to the top of Cowles Mountain is a refreshing three miles round-trip. Visitors hike on a trail with no shade and temperatures may still be high for this hike: please plan accordingly. This hike is for adults ages 18 and up only. We will meet at the dirt trailhead and will leave promptly at 9:00 - please call Kari or Megan if you are going to be late.

***This hike is not advised for those who are not regularly active or anyone with previous health conditions that can be aggravated by heat or intense physical activity. All participants will be required to sign a waiver prior to beginning the hike.***
