Assimba: East African Food Businesses In A Changing City says
Join us for an Ethiopian meal at Assimba Ethiopian Cuisine, the first East African restaurant on the intersection of MLK and Cherry. Owners Messeret Habeti and Messelu Ferede will be joining us to tell their story of starting their business and the changes that they have witnessed in the surrounding neighborhood. Messeret founded the East African Buisness Association and has played a huge role in organizing other East African businesses in the area. Read more about Messeret and the EABA :
