Join us for the second Cue Northwest Community Happy Hour (FREE DRINKS)

We'll hang in the atrium of the Northwest Film Forum for a while and talk about the recently opened Call for Treatments for the Cue Northwest Film Residency - http://cuenorthwest.org.

After that, you can slide on into the theater to check out Billy Strayhorn: Lush Life, a part of Earshot Jazz Films - http://www.nwfilmforum.org/live/page/calendar/3721

Cue Northwest is a partnership between Brick Lane Records and Northwest Film Forum. We believe connecting artists across disciplines creates a fertile environment for building community through art.

Our first project will fund a filmmaker in residence to create a short film for a narrative record: The One & The Other by Benjamin Verdoes. The resident filmmaker will have a budget of $5,000 to create a film of 5-10 minutes in length, and it will screen at Northwest Film Forum during Local Sightings Film Festival in fall 2016. The intent of this residency is to support an emerging artist, and the filmmaker in residence will have access to an advisory group of professional mentors.
