The event creator says
Meditating on death is really about embracing life. The practice takes us many layers in to ourselves, showing us fears that we may not know are lodged in our operating system, and moves us through them. When we practice deeper awareness of the body, we have an accessible capacity to no longer be held captive by our thoughts. For thousands of years, Tibetan monks have regarded meditation on death as an integral part of life. Knowing that death is certain, but the time of death is uncertain, we practice these meditations to viscerally understand the nature of impermanence, and prepare with peace for what's inevitably to come.

During this meditation, you will be gently guided through relaxation and visualization, and have time and space for silent reflection. Participants will need to bring a pillow, blanket, notebook and pen. Top of The Town / 7th Floor / $15 suggested donation
