Town Hall Seattle says
Vivaldi’s “The Four Seasons” (1725), one of the most popular works from the baroque period, captures the essence of daily life through the passing seasons — including lightning storms and barking dogs. This program features guest flutist Janet See, “the flutist of choice in baroque repertoire” (The Seattle Times). She’ll perform two of Vivaldi’s concerti for flute — “Il Gardellino” and “La Notte.” A violin solo, performed by guest director Carrie Krause, will round out the evening’s performance. Krause is concertmaster of the Bozeman Symphony and New Trinity Baroque; she is also a student in Juilliard’s historical performance program. A preconcert lecture begins at 7:00 p.m.

Presented by: Early Music Guild; performed by Seattle Baroque Orchestra.
Tickets: $45 general reserved seating; $40 seniors; $27 discounted side section; and $20 for ages 25 and under.
Doors open: 6:30 p.m.
