Embrace Our Neighbors: Pray In & Speak Out Against Islamophobia says
A new executive order was signed banning travel from 6 Muslim-majority countries. Dubbed Muslim Ban 2.0, it's scheduled to go into effect MARCH 16TH, but it may yet again be stayed in the courts.

Regardless of the outcome in the courts, we will gather in Westlake Park at 5:30pm Thursday. Leaders from the Muslim Association of Puget Sound (MAPS) and the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) will speak. Members of Seattle's Muslim community will hold evening prayers at 7:15. Those not participting in prayers are invited to stand holding hands in solidarity with their neighbors to send a clear message that love will prevail.

Bring: blankets, prayer rugs, and messages of love and solidarity.

"To each of you we prescribed a law and a way. Had Allah willed, he would have made you one nation (united in religion), but (he intended) to test you in what He has given you; so race to (all that is) good. (Quran 5:48)
