Etsy Craft Party! Seattle Edition says
The Etsy Craft Party is a global celebration of meeting and making. Every year communities from around the globe participate and organize local gatherings to celebrate Etsy's birthday. In 2014, more than 8,500 people took part in these parties, including hundreds of party hosts.
2015 marks Etsy’s tenth anniversary of connecting people around the world to make, sell and buy unique goods.

This year’s Etsy Craft Party theme, Kaleidoscope: Paper Taking Shape, aligns perfectly with this milestone. Kaleidoscopes represent many individual pieces coming together to create something beautiful — much like the dynamic shops that make up Etsy. Partygoers will have the chance to create three different collage projects, which will be announced closer to the party date.

Please R.S.V.P. on the following two events on Etsy's website. Etsy will send us party supplies and decorations based on the number of guests.

We will be taking over Western Avenue from 11am - 6pm on Saturday, June 6th. Check out our photo booth, help with our group project, chalk up the sidewalks and meet other makers in the Seattle area. We'll also have a coloring station for the kiddies. We'll have hourly raffles of bags stuffed with goodies.

Everyone who purchases a ticket will receive a gift bag full of awesome swag from us, our sponsors, participating Pike Place Market shops and local crafters. We'll announce our sponsors as we get closer to the event, but in the past, we've had very generous donations from 3M and Epson - to name a couple. If you would like to contribute to the swag bags for our guests, please email us at info@uglybabyandlaru.com.

If you would like to participate but can't afford the ticket price, please consider attending our setup party on Friday evening (June 5th). We'll set up the shop, make party decorations and eat snacks. Everyone who attends will get a free ticket to the main even on Saturday. Email us at info@uglybabyandlaru.com to let us know you want to help out -- and R.S.V.P on this event.
