About the Playwright
Clutching her moth-eaten B.A. in Theater, former psychotherapist and bereavement author Laurie Spector fled screenplay-obsessed Los Angeles for Seattle 11 years ago. Since arriving on these drizzly shores, Ms. Spector has found a haven for playwrights and now enjoys encouragement and support from the Seattle Playwrights Circle and the Seattle chapter of The Dramatists Guild. Her short plays have been produced in LA, New York and North Carolina.
