“Honest to God” is a haunting American Gothic tale about a woman named Nina who returns to her family home to find a mysterious burning bush blazing in her backyard. When the residents of the small town discover this strange phenomena and take up camp in her backyard to worship this religious miracle, Nina finds herself forced to confront some chilling secrets from her past – and accept a strange power that has isolated her from the world since childhood in this poetic and dreamlike one woman show.

Elinor is so glad to be reading this beautiful little play for you. The story intrigued her from the first read through, and to showcase JC's great talent is an honor. Elinor has most notably been in Sugar Daddies, written and directed by Sir Alan Ayckbourn, at ACT, King Lear and Twelfth Night with Seattle Shakespeare Company, and will be moving to Los Angeles in January to continue her acting career.
