The Improvised Music Project and the UW School of Music are proud to present the seventh annual IMPfest! Three nights featuring UW music students and faculty performing with Bill Frisell, Chris Cheek, and Steve Swallow.

All three concert nights will be held at the Ethnic Cultural Theater (3931 Brooklyn Ave NE) beginning at 7:30pm

Friday, May 1st - Bill Frisell
Set 1: Bill with a UW student ensemble
Set 2: Bill with UW Faculty Artists Cuong Vu, Richard Karpen and Ted Poor
Set 3: Solo Performance

Saturday, May 2nd - Chris Cheek
Set 1: Chris with a UW student ensemble
Set 2: Chris with UW Faculty Artists Cuong Vu, Ted Poor, and Luke Bergman

Sunday, May 3rd - Steve Swallow
Set 1: Steve with a UW student ensemble
Set 2: Steve with UW Faculty Artists Cuong Vu, Ted Poor, Richard Karpen and Bill Frisell

Tickets: $20 General public, $12 for students and seniors

The Improvised Music Project (or IMP) is a registered student organization (RSO) at the University of Washington that presents concerts, and seeks to unite members of the UW Jazz Department. The IMP's main undertaking is a monthly performance by UW music students at Cafe Solstice.
