Photographic Center Northwest says
Join us for an artist lecture with master photographer Henry Horenstein on 2nd Thursday, April 9 @ 6:30 pm. Plenty of seating will be available and refreshments provided.

Horenstein's lecture is concurrent with the opening reception of "Racing Days" an exhibition at PCNW mounting black and white photographs of thoroughbred racetracks across America. Although the reception is free and open to the public, the lecture will be held in a separate room and available only to ticket holders. Tickets are $10 per person / $5 for members. Buy your tickets here: http://shop.pcnw.org/products/artist-lecture-henry-horenstein

Horenstein, also a teacher and author of over 30 books, including one many may remember from their first photo class, Black and White Photography: A Basic Manual, is perhaps most well known for creating documentary portraits of distinct American sub-cultures. His lecture will include these works, others in his oeuvre, his books and of course "Racing Days" and will conclude with a book signing. Bring your Hornstein books! Few will be available for purchase here.
