Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Visitor Center says
It’s back to school time, and students here in King County and around the world can use your help! Swing by the Visitor Center between now and August 22 to drop off new, unwrapped school supplies in support of the YWCA School Days program. On Saturday, August 22, you’ll have the chance to make paper garlands which will help raise money to support students in Nepal working to rebuild their lives and schools as a result of the earthquake.

How you can help:
Donate new school supplies from August 5-August 22 in support of YWCA School Days.
Bring your new and unwrapped school supplies to the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Visitor Center, 440 5th Avenue North between 10 am and 6 pm, Tuesday-Saturday.

Saturday, August 22
Join us to make paper garlands. For every garland we create, $2 will be donated to support efforts to rebuild schools and classrooms in Nepal.
• 10 am-3 pm: Paper Garland making to support students in Nepal with Students Rebuild
• 12-2 pm: Meet representatives from YWCA Seattle King Snohomish to learn how the whole family can get involved and help students succeed
