Mark Hurwitz and Gin Creek is a Washington Blues Society Best Blues Act nominee known for maintaining one of the busiest performance schedules of any bands in the Puget Sound region. They play a lively and distinctive mixture of blues styles, drawing on elements of roots rock, funk, and New Orleans R&B. The wide variety of rhythms they play make them a special favorite of dancers.

In addition to playing regularly at clubs and restaurants, the band has frequently performed for all-ages audiences at concerts and music festivals, including Northwest Folklife, The Taste of Tacoma, The Bite of Seattle, The Bothell Blues Festival, and the Westport Blues Festival, For several season they entertained Seattle Seahawks game day crowds at The New Orleans Restaurants in Pioneer Square, near Century Link Field, and were featured in KOMO-TV coverage of the post-game celebration after the 2014 NFC Championship game.
