May Day 2015 says
May Day Celebration and Potluck at Woodland Park (just off Aurora and 60th, next to the horseshoe courts). We take over the field and weave the pole! Dance, sing, and bring spring in with love in your heart. Wear white and bring flowers, for head wreaths. Bring a dish to share, drink and good spirits. Pack out everything you bring. All are welcome - Fremont Arts Council membership encouraged but not required.

A Green Man and May Queen will be picked from the crowd. The May Pole will be wound, food will be shared. A good luck will be gained by jumping over a Beltane Fire.

Simon Neal plays the Fool [again, leading games for the kids, and those wanting to be kids again.

5pm Games for kids and adults who want to be kids again [still]
6pm Start of the Ritual of choosing the Green Man and May Queen
6:30pm Let's Dance around the Maypole
7:30pm Potluck dinner
8:30pm Fire Opening Ritual & Beltane leaping
10:30 pm The last revelers straggle [or struggle] off to their homes. A good time will have been had by all!!!
