Show Description -
Naked Girls Reading is a group of beautiful ladies who love to read…naked. That’s really it!

There’s something beautiful, something altogether more intimate, about a woman reading pretty much anything in her, well, altogether. It’s just that simple.
Naked Girls. Reading. Or Girls Reading. Naked.
However you need to explain it to yourself is fine. And while you do, we’ll be over here…reading.

Naked.

Featuring -
Co-Produced by Jesse Belle-Jones, "The Modern Sexual Intellectual," and Sailor St. Claire, "The Showgirl Scholar."

Readings by:
Sin de la Rosa
Boom Boom L'Roux
Jesse Belle-Jones
Sailor St. Claire

Producer bio -
The Seattle Chapter of Naked Girls Reading has been producing original, engaging, fully nude literary salons in Seattle since 2010. Producers past and present have all been internationally touring and locally renowned burlesque and cabaret artists and call upon the brightest stars of Seattle's lush, burgeoning art scene to join us on the naked stage.

"...[T]he avid reception for Naked Girls Reading simply shows that there's still plenty of room in Seattle for readings of all kinds, from the prurient to the nerdy to the experimental—or all three put together. The fact that Naked Girls Reading is so uncontroversial is a refreshing reminder that the literary and the carnal can live in silly harmony."

Paul Constant, for The Stranger (March 2010)

"...These women's state of undress become secondary to their thoughts on literature. THEIR BODIES ACTUALLY CEASE TO BE INTERESTING TO A ROOM FULL OF PEOPLE LISTENING TO THEIR WORDS. That's a pretty big deal.
This is not a book reading plus boobs, it is political act."
