Edward Elgar’s universally beloved Serenade for Strings and his rarely performed choral-orchestral work From the Bavarian Highlands bookend this season finale program that also includes Mozart’s exquisite Piano Concerto No. 23 (with OSSCS music director Clinton Smith as soloist) and the world premiere of Seeking, Searching by Kai-Young Chan (winner of the 2015–2016 OSSCS Composer Competition).
