Time Out says

A free, informal tour of the galleries with Travis Meyer. For Small Press Month, APRIL (Authors, Publishers and Readers of Independent Literature) will celebrate publications from small and independent literary producers with tours by small press editors, authors, and book designers of Pan: A Graphic Arts time Capsule of Europe 1895–1900. Contemporary small presses are part of Pan's legacy in their combination of old and new art forms as well as their support of both emerging and established artists. Tour guides will share useful information for current and potential authors and publishers and discuss how and why smaller literary producers are able to take risks and fill important cultural gaps in the larger market. ABOUT THE PRESENTERS Travis Meyer is an editor, bookmaker, and designer at Poor Claudia. He lives in Portland, OR. APRIL (Authors, Publishers and Readers of Independent Literature (APRIL)) is an annual festival of small press and independent literature held in Seattle. The 2015 APRIL Festival will take place March 24-29. For more information, visit aprilfestival.com.
