Town Hall Seattle says
Town Hall’s popular Penny University series continues this spring with more thought-provoking discussions on the changing economy and nature of work. This conversations give audiences the opportunity to examine broader questions raised by Town Hall’s Civics series: inequality, economics, and the cultural realities of work. The April edition of Penny U –inspired by Jen Pahlka, Bruce Schneier, and David Bonior’s March events — will focus on the idea of the Commons as it is reflected in our politics, environment, and social life. This discussion will explore where the Commons is practiced today, and whether this form of collective practice presents a solution to society’s problems. Attendance at the March Town Hall events is not necessary to join the dialogue!
