Poetry On Buses Workshop says
CELEBRATING AFRICAN AMERICAN VOICES!

You are invited to write a poem through a facilitated Poetry Writing Workshop honoring and exploring African American poetry--how it connects us to water and to each other. Led by Poetry on Buses poet planner and teaching artist Jourdan Keith, poets Monique Franklin and Leija Farr (Seattle's first-ever Youth Poet Laureate) participants will reflect on the theme of water and share what they write during “BoUnce,” an all-ages improvisational, interactive open-mic spoken word experience created by Urban Wilderness Project.

Learn more at poetryonbuses.org, and RSVP at rsvp@poetryonbuses.org.

Poetry on Buses is a partnership between 4Culture, Office of Arts & Culture Seattle, Sound Transit, King County Metro Transit, King County Wastewater Treatment Division, King County Water and Land Resources Division, and Seattle Public Utilities.
