In the culmination of their 17th season, PSSO will play selections including the overture of Mikhail Glinka’s famed five-act opera “Ruslan and Ludmila,” Ludwig van Beethoven’s “Violin Concerto,” and suites 1 and 2 of Manuel De Falla’s “The Three-Cornered Hat” ballet. The Seattle-based orchestra was founded by musical director Alan Shen in 1999 and is an all-volunteer ensemble.
