SDOT will share conceptual improvement options on their designs to lower vehicle speeds and reduce collisions on Rainier Avenue South (specifically between Letitia Avenue South and Seward Park Avenue South).
This is the second of two meetings where SDOT will seek comments from the community on their design proposals.
With 3600 collisions, 1700 injuries, and 11 fatalities in the past 10 years combined with a 16% vacancy rate, SDOT's collaborative process is a great opportunity for the community to help make Rainier Avenue safer, calmer, and more vibrant.
