A limited number of tickets will be available at the door at 8 pm. The night's activities include: Get dancing with equal parts deep thinker, rabble rouser, party starter, and iconoclast DJ Doc Adam. Keep moving to mixes of funk, hip-hop, boogie, and R&B with dj100proof. Hip-hop/cultural dancer, James Jones, mixes traditonal hoop dancing and breakdancing to kick-off the night. Explore cultural intersections and contemporary Native culture in portraiture with Wendy Red Star . Create Duchamp-inspired silhouettes with artist Alicia Betty. Build absurd Rube Goldberg machines with Weber Thompson architects. View the world through kaleidoscopic lenses with artist Julie Alpert . Explore the patterns and designs of Tsitsistas/Suthai (Cheyenne) objects in an activity with artist Sandra Farmer. Play the game Never Alone (Kisima Ingitchuna), the first game developed in collaboration with the Iñupiat, an Alaska Native people. Pass by and get reflected by the Holoflector project developed by artist Jason Salavon and a team from Microsoft Research. Neuroses leads you on a wild, and slightly strange, tour of skits inspired by SAM's collection.
