The Seattle Public Library says
Have you ever had an idea for improving education? Come to this three-day event and team up to launch your education-focused startup. Registration is required and you must attend all three days.

Bring your creative startup ideas and startup skills for an exciting weekend of product/service development at the Central Library! Find the right people with complementary skills & the passion to build an education product in one weekend. Design for learning, conduct user tests, receive coaching from experienced education designers & industry professionals and win prizes that will help take your idea to the next level!

This is a free event, open to:

Developers – anyone who can and will write code
Educators – teachers, professors and school leaders
Designers – those with graphic design and UI/UX skills
Business innovators with marketing, PR or non-technical business background

Friday
6:30 p.m. – 11 p.m. Register, pitch your idea, form teams and start work…

Saturday
9 a.m. – 11 p.m. Build your product with the help of your team and expert coaches.

Sunday
9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Prepare for presentations and ask any final questions.
3 p.m. – 6 p.m. - Final presentations, awards, wrap up and go home!
