The statistics are staggering. Reports indicate that as many as one in three suffer from some type of addiction disorder. A multi-faceted condition with many forms, including: alcohol, illegal and prescription drugs, eating disorders (anorexia, bulimia, compulsive overeating), compulsive spending, gambling, exercise bulimia, sex, love, porn as well as addiction to relationships and roles. Addiction causes social, psychological and physical harm. It affects people of all ages, backgrounds and socio-economic status. And…yes, it is hugely present in the yoga community. An equal opportunity destroyer, addiction affects not only the addict, it shakes families, friends and ultimately society as a whole.

This workshop uses presentation, discussion and experiential practices to explore finding the truth behind addiction. It presents a rich, powerful framework for self-inquiry and explores daily practices to enhance physical, mental and spiritual well-being.
