Town Green Day Of Service: Restoring The Arboretum says
Celebrate Earth Day by helping to restore one of Seattle’s most beautiful green spaces. Town Hall’s Day of Service will be working with Seattle Student Conservation Association to plant, mulch, remove invasive species, and maintain trails throughout the Washington Park Arboretum. Volunteers will gather at the Crabapple Meadow just south of the Graham Visitor Center at the Washington Park Arboretum at 9:00 am to share a light breakfast and coffee while the Student Conservation Association introduces the event. Tools and gloves will be provided, but volunteers should wear long pants and closed-toe shoes, preferably work boots or sturdy sneakers, and bring a reusable water bottle. Snacks will also be provided throughout the day. Event will take place rain or shine so please dress appropriately for the weather! These events are great for young people 10 and up who are accompanied by parents.
There will be a place on the registration form where you can indicate your affiliation with Town Hall.
