Walker has taught at the University of Washington since 1989, frequently leading the Studio Art in Rome program as well, and is now the Director of the School of Art + Art History + Design. His ceramic works have been featured in twenty-four one-person shows through the US and are included in the collection of the Henry Art Gallery, Racine Art Museum and the International Museum of Glass. He received the Flintridge Fountain Artist Grant in 2005. Walker completed a public art commission for Vulcan, Inc. in 2010.

About "Color & Pattern":
This exhibition is devoted to exploring how artists use color and pattern to capture the essence of the world around them and will feature paintings, drawings, sculpture, and ceramics. Color & Pattern includes works that are representational, like those by David Hockney and Philip Taaffe where the viewer can easily recognize the subject matter and works by abstract artists such as Agnes Martin and Mark Rothko, whose paintings draw little reference from our natural world.

Exhibition Dates: April 15 - July 23, 2017

Visit:
Hours: Tuesday - Sunday, 10AM - 6PM
Admission: $5
