Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis says
Join CAM for a special #FirstFridaysGrandCenter celebration on October 2!

This First Friday coincides with the Kickoff Party for Open Studios STL, as well as the opening of Marilyn Minter: I’m Not Much But I’m All I Think About, a new installment in CAM’s Street Views series of large-scale video works projected on the Museum’s facade.

At dusk, CAM presents the opening of I’m Not Much But I’m All I Think About (2011), a single-channel projection by New York-based artist Marilyn Minter. The video will be on view from dusk to midnight every night from October 2, 2015, through January 10, 2016. camstl.org/marilynminter

To kickoff Open Studios STL, visitors can view the complete list of participating artists and plan their weekend itinerary with a commemorative printed passport map from The Firecracker Press, as well as enjoy a drink and chat with the artists. openstudios-stl.org

Music provided by Lobster, a collaborative project between local sound artists Nathan Cook and Kevin Harris of Audible Interruptions. This performance marks the release of Cook’s recorded Audible Interruptions tape, available now in the CAM shop.
