Saint Louis Art Museum says
On Friday, April 8, join us in the Farrell Auditorium as historian Dr. Thomas J. Farnham, Textile Museum Trustee and Charles Grant Ellis Archives Research Associate and professor emeritus at the Connecticut State University System, gives an insider's look at James F. Ballard, the intriguing connoisseur behind the carpets. A prominent St. Louis businessman of his time, Ballard ranks amongst the world’s great carpet collectors. However, in terms of his personal life, the factors that motivated him to collect, and his methods of collecting, he stands alone.

This is a free event. PLEASE NOTE: Your RSVP on this page does not reserve you a seat at the lecture. A ticket is required for all events, even free events, held in the Farrell Auditorium. Tickets may be reserved on-site at the Museum’s Information Centers, online through MetroTix (link above), or by phone at 314.534.1111. Same-day tickets available on-site only.

Tickets reserved through MetroTix incur a service charge; the service charge is waived for tickets reserved at the Museum.
