Albert Goldbarth is the Adele B. Davis Distinguished Professor of Humanities at Wichita State University. An MFA from Iowa, Professor Goldbarth is the author of over twenty collections of poetry and three collections of essays. His collection "Heaven and Earth: A Cosmology" won the National Book Critics Circle Award for 1992, and "Many Circles: New & Selected Essays" won the creative nonfiction division of the PEN Center USA's Literary Awards for 2002. Goldbarth's poetry has received a Guggenheim fellowship and three fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts.

Dana Levin is the author of several poetry collections. Her first collection, "In the Surgical Theatre," won the American Poetry Review/Honickman First Book Prize, the John C. Zacharis First Book Award from Ploughshares, the Witter Bynner Prize from the American Academy of Arts and Letters, and the PEN/Osterweil Award. She teaches Creative Writing at the Santa Fe University of Art and Design, Warren Wilson College, and Maryville University in St. Louis each fall. Her poetry has received the Whiting Writers' Award and a Guggenheim fellowship.
