Speak Out: 8:00pm, Graham Chapel

Rape, sexual assault, sexual abuse, stalking and intimate partner violence are often labeled “crimes of silence” because of low reporting rates and social discomfort with their public discussion. On April 23th 2015 at 8pm, the St. Louis community will gather on the Wash. U. campus to shatter the silence. Wash. U.'s Community Organized for Rape Education (C.O.R.E.) presents Take Back The Night, a walk and spoken word open mic for members of the community to speak out about sexual violence.
