Advertising
Time Out says
Pastor Traci Blackmon and Millennial Activists United co-founders Alexis Templeton and Brittany Ferrell will be at Christ Church Cathedral on Sunday, March 8 for "Why Protest? -- Worship and Conversation about The Movement.
Blackmon, pastor of Christ the King UCC and member of the Ferguson Commission, will return to our pulpit to preach the Word at the 10 am service. After the service at noon, she will join Ferrell and Templeton in a community conversation around three questions:
*WHY Protest -- what is driving the protests?
*Why PROTEST -- why choose this method of expression?
*How can everyone get involved in The Movement?
We are hopeful other young activists will also be present to enrich the conversation. EVERYONE is encouraged to come and be a part of this Spirit-filled day with these extraordinary women.
Sponsored by the Pursuing Racial Justice at Christ Church Cathedral ministry group.
