Since it launched in 1999, Art International Zurich has become something of an institution in the Swiss art market place. Now attracting almost 20,000 visitors annually, the trade and consumer show sells modern art in the fields of painting, graphics, sculpture and photography to an audience of professionals, collectors and the general public. Among the exhibitors in 2015 are international galleries such as Rome’s 6° Senso Art Gallery and the Smart Ship Gallery of Japan, and artists from places as far flung as Australia and Korea. It’s not difficult to see why the fair is a good place to find new and unusual work, as well as to mingle and establish contacts. You don’t need to be an expert to enjoy it, either. Day passes are available to buy in advance or on the day.
