Time Out says

This arty summer festival at Basel’s Fondation Beyeler unites art and live music in a pretty parkland setting.

Fondation Beyeler’s 6th Sommerfest promises a summer’s day of art and live music. On the festival programme are workshops, urban sketching, games and guided tours in different languages, as well as visits to the Marlene Dumas exhibition. On the musical side of things, DJ Prinzessin in Not will be warming up from noon, while the highlight of the day will, without a doubt, be the live performance by Skye & Ross. From international stages with their band, Morcheeba, singer Skye Edwards and multi-instrumentalist Ross Godfrey play at Fondation Beyeler from 7.30pm. Catering is not forgotten either, and comes in the shape of a barbecue stand, ‘Flammkuchen’, à la carte meals, and ice cream stalls. Festival entrance costs CHF 10 for adults and CHF 6 for young people (including museum entry), and is free for children under ten.
