Photos expos extend life of famous Images Festival

Espace Quai1, the permanent exhibition space of the outstanding Festival Images biennale (the next edition is in 2016) launches its freshly transformed premises with a collaboration with FOAM / Fotografiemuseum Amsterdam to present ‘Digging Up Clouds’ by Sjoerd Knibbeler, the laureate of the prestigious Grand Jury Award at the 30th Hyères Festival.

The work of Sjoerd Knibbeler (1981) focuses on visualising invisible natural phenomena with the help of his self-imagined and created objects. His 'constructed photography’ is a poetic whirlwind that captures air movement, clouds and tornados in unexpected ways.

If you're looking to keep abreast of contemporary photography, Espace Quai1 is the place to go to.
