The ten-day Taktung Festival sees national and international artists transform temporary exhibition space in Zurich into an artwork that reflects the zeitgeist.
Treading the line between provocative and popular culture, the ten-day Taktung Festival invites national and international artists to explore the present and transform temporary exhibition space GS15 in Zurich-Binz into a work of art. With its modular concept and aim to confront, question and surprise, the interdisciplinary festival features an exhibition, performances, workshops, concerts and DJ sets. Among the artists on this year’s line-up are Baden’s video artist Max Treier, percussionist and composer Martin Lorenz and French DJs Acid Arab. The result is a collaborative platform for contemporary visual and audio-visual art that brings together experiments, sculptures, music, and video and light installations.
