Shortly after it opened, this classy bar with its stylish décor and posh feel became infamous for its low windows which allowed passers-by to peek under the skirts of women sitting on the bar stools and chairs inside. But any press is good press and for a while the Goethe was as crowded as can be. Now that things have calmed down a bit, it is still a nice place for a decent glass of wine - and has an outside area that can be visited in skirts without danger.
