Review
This spacious Swiss chain pub brews its own beers (three staples and a range of specials) and can serve them to you in its own version of a yard of ale – a multi-litre tube with a tap for constant refills. An impressive table centrepiece, it’s ideal for groups on a messy night out. Pair your beer with another house speciality, a flammenkueche, a sort of white pizza laden with cream, cheese and lardons. The saloon-style decor is casual and cheerful and the place is big enough to have tables available for dinner without pre-booking. You can even take the beer away with you, as its award-winning brews are available to purchase in bottles at the bar.
