Struggling with "dry" January? Well this Friday you can still indulge in your coffee addiction thanks to Boréal. Just head down to the grand opening of Boréal Coffee’s second coffee bar in Zurich where you can indulge in their mighty generous offer of free coffee...yes we said free coffee, all day for customers.

Since Boréal Coffee transformed an abandoned storage space in Geneva into a lively coffee bar six years ago, the brand has taken Switzerland’s coffee scene by storm. The independent coffee company has a winning combination of serving ethically sourced coffee beans from small cooperatives in Latin America, Africa and Asia, artisanal roasting methods and skilled baristas. Now, with four branches in Geneva and one in Zurich, all characterised by a bright, contemporary aesthetic, it is preparing to welcome its sixth outlet – located next to the equally brand spanking new branch of hip food venue Gaertnerei, in the heart of Zurich Oerlikon.

To celebrate the grand opening this Friday, Boréal Coffee is offering visitors the opportunity to taste all of its coffee for free. Gaertnerei, meanwhile, will have ‘buy one get one free’ offers throughout the shop too so even more reason to head over there this Friday. While Boréal Coffee is popular with those who know a good coffee when they taste one, Gaertnerei is a top healthy eating joint – it doesn’t use any additives or preservatives, and, with its salad buffet, is deliciously practical.

The Grand Opening will take place this Friday, 13th January, from 8am to 3.00pm, at Boréal Coffee, Thurgauerstarsse 34, 8050 Zurich-Oerlikon. Just turn up to join in the party and enjoy your favourite blend for free.
