Irish comic Andrew Maxwell doesn’t sit about. Known for his shrewd but hilarious political criticisms and biting social commentary, Maxwell’s talent has propelled him a long way so far. From performing at international comedy festivals including the Edinburgh Fringe and Montreal, to contributing his witticisms to UK telly panel shows such as John Bishop’s Only Joking, Have I Got News For You, Live at the Apollo, Mock the Week and Celebrity Juice and honing his own BBC Radio 4 series Andrew Maxwell’s Public Enemies, the Irishman’s career is all-encompassing. He even helped found (along with Marcus Brigstocke) Austria’s Altitude comedy festival. See what all the fuss is about at this gig hosted by the International Comedy Club.
