Time Out says

This year marks 130 years since the birth of one of the greatest names in cinema history: Charlie Chaplin. As part of its celebrations, the Chaplin’s World museum, situated in the mansion in Corsier-sur-Vevey where the silent comedy superstar spent the last 25 years of his life, is hosting its first temporary exhibition. Chaplin Personal: 1952-1973 is a collection of around 50 images taken over two decades by Chaplin’s official photographer in Switzerland, Yves Debraine. Since the time they first met in December 1952, the French-born photographer, who also worked for Time and Life magazines, was responsible for documenting the numerous parties, receptions, awards ceremonies, trips, and work projects in which Chaplin was involved. Many of the photos in the show, which is curated by Yves’s son Luc Debraine, have never been seen before and combine everything from posed portraits taken for the Chaplin family’s greetings cards to informal images of life at Manoir de Ban and visits to the circus. An intimate insight into the world of a genuine genius.
