A contemporary dance and performance festival that pushes the limits of human imagination.
Throw out any notions of what you think is normal when Zurich Moves comes to town. The contemporary festival questions the limits of identity, gender and sexuality to thrilling effect. For one week only, an exciting array of cross-border and cross-gender dance, workshops and performance art takes over venues including the Tanzhaus Zurich, Walcheturm and Kino Riffraff. Among the highlights are performances by New Zealand’s Simone Aughterlony and Polish Slawek Bendrat. The festival, which was born of the partnership between Zurich and San Francisco and brings together artists and institutions from both cities, is now in its fourth edition.
