Fritz Kalkbrenner

A chance to catch Berlin-based DJ and producer Fritz Kalkbrenner in his Ways Over Water tour, following the album of the same name that was released in October 2014. Best known for creating the soundtrack to the film Berlin Calling with his brother Paul, Fritz Kalkbrenner went on to develop debut album Here Today, Gone Tomorrow which mixed techno and soul in equal proportions, overlaid with his distinctive, melancholy vocals. Follow-up Sick Travellin’ placed Fritz firmly in the higher echelons of Germany’s dance music scene, and now Ways Over Water has consolidated that, displaying his signature, soulful voice in tracks that combine pop and techno to scintillating effect.
