Whether you fancy a falafel flatbread before your flight, a salmon protein box for stowing away, or a sweet treat to feed your just-landed – and starving hungry – sweetheart, you’ll have no problems at Zurich Airport.

Not one, not two, not three, but four branches of fresh food chain Pret a Manger have just opened at the Swiss hub  – the very first in all of Switzerland.

With one situated before and three past the security gates, the outlets will be able to tempt travellers’ taste buds with the brand’s trademark freshly prepared salads, sandwiches, baguettes, hot wraps and sweet treats, alongside fresh fruit juices, fruit cups and organic coffees and teas. And just as at Pret's other 450 branches, to ensure maximum freshness all dishes are prepared throughout the day –in a separate kitchen built at the airport – to be sold when they’re at their best and most delicious.

The new Pret quartet at Zurich Airport is particularly sure to delight vegetarian and vegan jet-setters, giving them access to a much-expanded world of animal-free food options ahead of their flights. Whether you want your salad, wrap, or sandwich in the form of a bite before you board or a take away for take-off is up to you. But you’ll have trouble finding a fresher way to fly.
