The guys who used to run the legendary Pfingstweide have found their new home on Langstrasse. But Café Gold is not simply a reprise, though its musical mix of house, techno and drum’n’bass reminds one of the old venue. Those who arrive early might actually notice the chesterfield sofas and large Persian rugs, but when the place gets crowded, all that golden glimmer wears off quickly.
