Café Frühling

True to its name, you get the sense that it’s always springtime at Café Frühling. Tulips decorate the tables while candles flicker, jazz tunes tumble from the speakers and light streams in through huge windows. The hiss of coffee brewing and its irresistible aroma hang on the air. Frühling’s speciality is coffee, and all of it – be it filter or espresso – comes from small suppliers in Switzerland and Germany. There is also a small breakfast menu and a selection of pastries and cakes. The fruit flans are particularly tasty. It’s with good reason that you’ll struggle to find a table at the weekend among the sophisticates reading the paper.
