Just a short hop from the busy Cornavin station, this laid-back street corner café in the rather funky neighbourhood of Les Grottes is a real find. Friendly and inviting with its yellow walls and Moroccan-style decor, it’s as good for coffee and homemade cake as it is for a simple mid-week lunch (pasta, salads, steaks) or late-night drinks. On a winter’s day settle down inside with a fresh mint tea and help yourself to the selection of battered board games, or on sunny days pick an outside table for your cuppa, feel the sun on your face and watch the people go by. Things get lively on a Saturday night so book ahead if you’re coming for dinner.
